This marks the official operation of Sun Yat-sen University industry group(Guzhen) semi-conductor light research center.

Tang Bingquan, the vice-president of the Guangdong provincial political consultative committee, Chen Yansheng, the chairman of China light electronic association, Xie Xiaofeng, the vice chairman of China light electronic association and municipal party secretary of Zhongshan, Chen Maohui, the deputy-secretary and mayor of Zhongshan, Feng Xurong, the deputy mayor have all participated the inauguration along with other leaders. After the inauguration, Mr. Li Ruiqi paid a visit to the research center, Mr. Chen Jiansheng, the president of Joinmax and other main management and technical staff accompanied and made work report at site, Mr Li gave absolute appraisal for the preparation work of the research center at the first stage and gave requirement for the next stage.
