? ??On September 3rd, the launch ceremony of “Guangzhou Optical Valley ” has been held in the Guangzhou Municipal government auditorium. Five academicians, Liu
Honghao,Su Qiang, Chen Xingdan, Jiang Zhonghong Zhou Kesong，along with the municipal party secretary WangQingliang, Chenjianghua, deputy secretary and mayor of Guangzhou have all attended this conference. Guangzhou Joinmax Co.,Ltd participated in as the first batch of organizations in light industry.
? ? “Guangzhou Optical Valley” would focus on developing the eight light technology and related industry in priority, these include light display, light illumination, light image, light telecommunication, light energy, light rare earth, light bio-medical technology and light service, the total value of which in Guangzhou is estimated to surpass 360 billon RMB in 2016.

Ping Xinguang, The vice chairman of Guangzhou municipal political consultative conference gave an introduction about the strategic goal and task of building the Guangzhou Optical Valley on behalf of the Guangzhou Optical Valley work group. He pointed out that Guangzhou Optical Valley would gradually grew into a multi-major concentration area and develop along with the industry chain and added value chain through the industry layout and to influence the development core of the China`s light industry with the progresses in Pearl River Delta and become the axis of international light industry. By 2013, the gross value of light industry is estimated to be over 360 billon with more than 100 billion`s added value and become the pillar industry of Guangzhou initially.
? ? ?In terms of the layout of Guangzhou Optical Valley, they would focus on building Optical Valley international core zone of over 1000 acres of in Zhongxin（Guangzhou）Knowledge Town and build industry concentration zones in Guangzhou International Innovation Town.
? ? ?In terms of talents, we would relay the academicians of light industry in Guangzhou region as core and invite a bunch of world-renowned experts and entrepreneurs in the academy, science and business field to make up an expert team of around 100 persons.?
? ? ?Chen Jianhua, the mayor of Guangzhou pointed out that Guangzhou has four advantages including talent, geographical location, industry and platform in light industry development, and he hopes leading company in light industry could be established in Guangzhou within several years and walk towards overseas.
? ? ?WanQingliang, the Secretary of Guangzhou Municipal Party Committee, pointed out focus on developing 2 to 3 fields with best resources among these eight light industries and make them big and strong.
